"MiG Alley" is the name given by United Nations (UN) pilots to the northwestern portion of North Korea, where the Yalu River empties into the Yellow Sea.
During the Korean War, it was the site of numerous dogfights between UN fighter pilots and their opponents from North Korea (including some unofficially crewed by Soviet airmen) and the Peoples Republic of China.Soviet-built Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 were the aircraft used during most of the conflict, and the areas nickname was derived from them.

"Mildly recommend. Love the change from the Gunship 3 vietnam games because like the newer gunship sequel ww2 game, it focuses more on the gunplay and terrible players can't inevitably snipe you from 25nm with Radar Guided missiles, as well as get an easy kill with nearly un-dodgeable Heat seekers. Unfortunately this does not matter as the games multiplayer is and probably always will be dead unless it gets some advertisment and new content."

"It's alright. Definitely the best of the GS III Series. Unfortunately, the multiplayer is dead, completely. The missions are fun, but there are only 12, with no quick instant action game, or like any kind of custom game. Its definitely older, but that isn't the problem. It was kind of forgotten by the devs, but it is nice to see a few recent bug fix updates. It would be nice to see more polishing, but I think more content is needed. Something like more gameplay modes to freshen the experience."
